DJ General Juice, Africa

Juice's journey into electronic dance music started on the dance floors of Vortex and Alien Safari about 11 years ago where he got totally hooked on this way of partying, outdoors in the sun having fun.  The total freedom of just closing your eyes and being transported by the music to a place where peace and rhythm exist in harmony.

His passion for this kind of sound quickly grew to the stage where he started collecting the tunes of all his favourite artists, and being inspired by the mixing of DJ artists such as Dj Anti, Pied Piper Paul, Dj Lox and Dj Marcus(Son Kite), Justin decided to put his music collection to good use and started spinning.

From the very beginning the main focus was on perfecting mixing skills, creating long overlays connecting the grooves that make the magic happen.

For the past 8 years now Justin has been playing his trademark style of driving progressive music at indoor and outdoor events all over South Africa, a special moment of which was spinning at a Vortex party, sharing a stage with Son Kite.  Justin has also been running his own party production for the last 6 years, making parties regularly and bringing people together to celebrate with music. He is a natural born entertainer with the talent for selecting the perfect tracks for the right time and weaving them together seamlessly.

Justin is part of an up and coming avant-garde school of new dj's, pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and taking the sport to a new level.  Lots of great things still to come from this guy.
