Atacama brings together Berlin producers Kevin Hentschel and Rafael Gomez. Their partnership grew through years of exploring electronic sounds, organising events and working across different musical styles. In 2012, those experiences converged in a shared focus on driving psychedelic trance, giving the duo a sound built around intricate rhythms, mysterious atmospheres and sustained forward motion.
The dancefloor remains central to that approach. Experiences at Fusion and other international festivals helped shape Atacama’s musical direction, while their studio work continues through IONO Music. Their productions balance rhythmic complexity with the space needed for a journey to unfold, inviting listeners into an evolving environment where precise electronic detail and psychedelic imagination work together.
