Gipsy Soul 🇦🇹

Gipsy Soul is the progressive psytrance project of Austrian producer Johannes Horvath. Founded in 2014, it grew from his experience as a DJ into a dedicated production project, continuing as a solo act from 2016. Its identity lies in a deep progressive groove with psychedelic influences, allowing melody and atmosphere to develop around a firm rhythmic foundation.

Horvath’s productions combine expressive melodic lines and vocals with driving bass and carefully placed percussion. His music has appeared on IONO Music, HOMmega, TesseracTstudio and Digital Om, while collaborations with Aioaska form another thread within his catalogue. From the early Ready to Take Off EP onward, Gipsy Soul has pursued a sound in which movement and musical feeling work together, carrying the intimacy of personal expression into a shared trance experience.
