Numayma 🇫🇷

Numayma is the project of French producer Steven Anthoni. Trained as a pianist, he began developing the project in 2013, teaching himself production while exploring ways to transform ideas from different forms of electronic music into his own sonic language. His Indian heritage and interest in tribal instruments remain important sources of inspiration.

Indian vocals, mantras and cinematic atmospheres sit alongside psychedelic trance in music conceived around a theme for each creation. Rather than treating those influences as decoration, Numayma uses them to build a distinct musical world and a sense of spiritual travel. His IONO Music releases include Reach the Sky and By Your Consciousness, alongside Pure, a collaboration with Hyriderz that connects two individual approaches to psychedelic sound.
