One Function 🇮🇱

One Function is the progressive psytrance project of Israeli producer Jenia Akerman. His musical path began with DJing as a teenager, followed by formal study at BPM Music School and an earlier solo project, Unicode. Inspired by artists including The Delta, Cosma and Hallucinogen, he developed One Function as a return to his psychedelic roots.

Back to My Roots introduced the project on IONO Music in 2015, followed by the debut album One in 2016. His sound combines spiritual themes, ethnic vocals and elements of old-school trance with contemporary production. Collaborations with Maitika and Artex, and remixes of Protonica and Mindbenderz, form part of that early album chapter. At the centre of the project is a simple intention: to make listeners feel and connect through music.
