Ryooky 🇯🇵

Ryooky is a Tokyo-based DJ connected with IONO Music, Meeting Point Festival and Japan Trance Radio. He began developing his mixing skills in 2010, playing across tech house, electro and progressive trance before becoming more deeply involved in Japan’s outdoor rave culture. Organising gatherings with friends introduced him to the relationship between sound, landscape and the people on the dancefloor.

After exploring groovy, twilight and darker psychedelic music with Digital Shamans Records, he returned to his progressive roots and joined IONO Music in 2022. His sets move across a broad range of tempos and moods, using underground selections to build a continuous story. That openness to different settings and sounds remains a defining part of Ryooky’s approach to DJing.
